Connect your own domain
Your site is live on a Giant Context subdomain from the moment you have a website, with nothing to set up. When you are ready to use your own domain, such as yourcompany.com, you add it, set a couple of DNS records at your registrar, and the rest happens on its own. Verification first, then HTTPS.

After you add the records, the domain moves through five states. It sits in one of them until the next check picks it up.
If it stays on pending DNS, your records are probably not set right yet. Check them again at your registrar. You can also trigger a re-check rather than waiting for the next pass.
HTTPS is automatic
You do not buy or install a certificate. Once your domain verifies, the HTTPS certificate is issued and attached for you, and it renews on its own. There is nothing to configure and nothing to remember to renew.
Your primary domain
Your first custom domain becomes the primary one automatically. The primary domain is the address your links, your sitemap and your robots file use. Any other hostname you have added redirects to it, so a visitor who types the wrong one lands in the right place.
You can set a different domain as primary whenever you want. The generated Giant Context subdomain stays and cannot be deleted. Custom domains you can remove.
