One rate for the work the AI does

Free during alpha. Early access is sandbox access with no billing. At general availability there is one rate, $25 per million tokens, and you pay for the operations the platform performs rather than for a tier.

What everyday operations cost

At the typical token counts the calculator below uses, and the $25 rate.

  • A page or a blog post, about 150,000 tokens, comes to about $3.75.

  • A knowledge base article, about 50,000 tokens, comes to about $1.25.

  • A drafted email, about 5,000 tokens, comes to about 13 cents.

  • A social post, about 3,000 tokens, comes to about 8 cents.

The cap keeps the meter under your ceiling

Soft caps warn, hard caps pause

Usage rolls up daily, in dollars, per project. Soft caps send an alert at eighty, ninety and one hundred percent of a threshold. A hard cap pauses generation when spend reaches your ceiling. Every organization starts with a $50 monthly cap, and you can raise it, lower it or remove it whenever you want.

Three questions about the meter

The unit the meter counts. It covers the model inference, the request handling and the compute behind an operation, normalized so that a page, an article and an email are priced on one scale.

A soft cap sends an alert at eighty, ninety and one hundred percent. A hard cap pauses generation until you raise it.

Nothing. A published site that is not generating anything does not move the meter.
