Organization Settings Overview

Your organization is your shared workspace in Giant Context. The settings panel gives you complete control over your team's environment, allowing you to manage members, invite collaborators, configure service accounts, and monitor activity across all your projects.

Giant Context uses a two-level permission system to keep your workspace secure and organized. Organization roles determine a user's overall access to the workspace, such as managing members or viewing organization-wide resources. Project roles determine what a user can do within specific projects they have been assigned to. This structure allows you to give team members broad access while restricting external partners or freelancers to only the projects they need.

Managing member access

You can update a member's permissions at any time using the role dropdown next to their name in the members table. Keep in mind that the organization owner's role cannot be changed through this menu — ownership must be explicitly transferred first.

Authenticate Your Service Accounts

Connect external tools and scripts to your organization using API keys. In the API Keys tab of your organization settings, you can generate new keys to authenticate your service accounts. Remember to copy your key immediately—it is only shown once. From this screen, you can also regenerate or revoke keys as needed to keep your workspace secure.
