Active or inactive

Every form has an active or inactive status, which you can check from your forms list. Active forms are live and ready to accept new submissions from your visitors. If you set a form to inactive, it immediately rejects any new submissions. Inactive forms remain fully accessible in your console, so you can still edit their configuration or review past submissions.

Individual forms can be customized, but they all share the destination and notification settings configured at the app level. Here is what happens when a visitor submits a form on your website:

Deactivate instead of deleting

If a form is no longer needed but you want to keep its submissions for reference, set it to inactive rather than deleting it. This preserves the historical data without accepting new responses.
