Active vs. Inactive

Every form has an Active or Inactive status, which you can quickly check from your forms list. Active forms are live and ready to accept new submissions from your visitors. If you set a form to inactive, it will immediately reject any new submissions. However, inactive forms remain fully accessible in your console, allowing you to edit their configuration or review past submissions whenever you need.

How settings affect form behavior

While individual forms can be customized, they all share the destination and notification settings configured at the app level. When a visitor submits a form on your website, here is exactly what happens behind the scenes:
