Email Templates

Email templates are the core messages you send to your contacts. Whether you're announcing a product launch, sharing a monthly newsletter, or following up after a purchase, every successful message starts with a solid design. You build and refine your templates once under Email > Emails. Later, when you're ready to reach your targeted audience, you'll select your finished design and send it out using Email Campaigns.

The Emails Screen

The Emails screen (located under Email > Emails) is your central hub for creating, managing, and editing all your email templates. Whether you're drafting a monthly newsletter or a product launch announcement, you can see every message at a glance, build new ones, and preview exactly what your recipients will see in their inbox.

The Email Editor

If you've ever built a web page, you know that modern browsers can handle almost anything. Email clients, however, are notoriously picky. To ensure your messages look perfect in every inbox, our email editor uses a curated set of email-safe blocks rather than the full range of website components. Behind the scenes, your layout is compiled into MJML—a specialized markup language for responsive emails—before being converted into battle-tested HTML that renders flawlessly across all major email clients.

Build Flawless Emails with Ease

The email editor uses the same intuitive drag-and-drop interface as the website builder, but features a curated set of email-safe blocks. Behind the scenes, your layout is automatically compiled into MJML, guaranteeing your campaigns look perfect in any inbox.

Control Every Detail of Your Email Design

Easily toggle between desktop and mobile views using the editor toolbar to ensure your emails look perfect on any screen. Access the Email Settings modal to configure your sender information, apply reusable headers and footers from the Design tab, and manage your campaign details all in one place.

Email-Safe Blocks

Unlike the website builder, the email editor features a curated set of email-safe blocks. Behind the scenes, your content is compiled into MJML—a specialized markup language that ensures your message renders perfectly across all major email clients. When you select any block on the canvas, its dedicated settings panel will appear, giving you full control over its design and content.

Design with Email-Safe Blocks

Unlike the website builder, the email editor uses a curated set of blocks designed specifically for the inbox. Behind the scenes, your content is compiled to MJML, guaranteeing responsive layouts. Use the configuration panel to adjust button variants, text colors, and alignment with confidence.

Troubleshooting & Common Questions

Older desktop clients, like Outlook, use restrictive rendering engines that often strip out modern CSS. This is exactly why our email editor uses a curated set of email-safe blocks. Behind the scenes, your content is compiled into MJML—a specialized markup language designed to ensure your emails look great and function reliably across all inboxes, even the stubborn ones.

The easiest way to catch layout issues is by using the device preview in your editor toolbar before sending. If a layout breaks on mobile, check your image settings. Ensure your images aren't forced to fixed widths that are wider than a standard mobile screen, which can stretch the template and break the responsive design.

First, check your spam or junk folder—sometimes test emails get filtered out by overzealous inbox rules. Next, verify that your sender email address is correctly configured in your email settings. If everything looks right, just give it a few minutes; delivery times can occasionally vary depending on your email provider.
