Website posts
Posts are the blog on your website. Each post has its own URL, an author, a publish date and its own SEO settings, and the posts appear together on your blog listing. Publishing regularly, even one post a month, tells search engines the site is maintained and gives you material for your emails and your social accounts.
The posts list
Open Website > Posts to see a table of every post. Before you have written anything the screen offers to create your first one.

The table lists every post in the blog. The search bar at the top filters by title, and Create Post opens the dialog for a new one.
Click New Post in the top right to start. The dialog that opens collects the post's setup, SEO, design and tag settings before the visual builder loads.

Posts start as drafts. To put one on the live blog:

Answer a question your readers actually have. A post that solves something specific earns more return visits than one that covers a topic in general.
Say what the reader gets. A specific headline with a clear benefit is what makes someone click a link in a search result or an email.
Use descriptive headings, images and short paragraphs. Most readers scan a post before they read it.
Two or three sentences that say what the post covers. The excerpt is what appears on your blog listing pages, so a post without one is harder to choose.
Decide your categories once and keep the list short. Add tags freely, since they are what connects a post to related writing in other categories.
Write several posts at once and set each to Scheduled with its own date. The blog then keeps a steady pace without you posting by hand.
Write the SEO title and meta description while the post is fresh in your head. Left empty, the search result falls back to whatever the page starts with.
