Project dashboard
The dashboard is the first screen you see when you open a project. It shows what is happening across the project, whether requests to it are succeeding and a button to add apps.
Activity over time
The Activity over time chart shows the total number of events tracked across your project, day by day. Read it to see whether activity is rising, level or falling.
Tokens by category
The Tokens by category chart shows how many tokens the project used each day, split by what used them. Tokens are the unit the meter counts and the unit you are billed in, so this chart is where a spend spike shows first.
Tip. The project's monthly cap is set at the organization level. When Tokens by category climbs faster than usual, that is the day to look at the cap.
Read and write operations
The Operations chart compares read operations, visitors viewing your content, with write operations, your team creating or updating content. When reads far outweigh writes, your audience is reading more than you publish. A rise in writes means your team is building.
Responses by status code
The Responses by status code chart sorts every response the project sent into the standard HTTP groups. 2xx is a success, 3xx a redirect, 4xx a request the visitor got wrong and 5xx a failure on our side. The 2xx band should carry almost everything.
A rise in 4xx after you publish usually means a link points at a page that no longer exists. A rise in 5xx means something is failing, and the endpoint charts below show where.
Tip. Look at Responses by status code in the days after you publish a new page or change a form.
Top operations by endpoint
This chart has one line per endpoint and shows which pages, API calls and resources receive the most requests.
Average response time by endpoint
This chart shows your slowest endpoints, one line each, with the average response time of each. A line that trends upward is an endpoint getting slower. Look into it before visitors notice.
Tip. Large images, complex pages and high volumes of form submissions all slow a project down. The response time chart shows where.
Adding apps to your project
The Add App dialog
Each app is a self-contained module that shares the project's files, branding and contact records.
Tip. You do not need every app on day one. Start with Website and one other app, then add the rest from the dashboard when you need them.
The Pulse
A small animated dot on the Assistant button is the Pulse. It shows that Mind is working in your project. Click the dot to open the Pulse feed, a read-only side panel with a timestamped log of what Mind is doing.
Tip. Keep the Pulse feed open while Mind builds a page or drafts an email to follow each step as it happens.
How the dashboard fits your work
Open the project, read the activity and health charts for anything out of the ordinary, then go to the app where you need to work.
When you open the project. A short look at the activity and health charts is enough. You do not need to watch it all day.
Something you published is failing for visitors, such as a broken link or a misconfigured form. Check Responses by status code after every publish and the endpoint charts to find where.
Click the Assistant button in the bottom-right corner of the screen. The Pulse dot on that button opens the read-only feed, not a conversation.
