Configure how your Email app behaves across your project. From the settings panel, you can manage your contact sources, set up engagement tracking, and view technical details. Access it anytime by navigating to Email > Settings in the left sidebar.
When you open Email > Settings, the Contacts tab is the first screen you'll see. It controls the foundation of your email operations: where your audience comes from. This is where you define your contact source, determining whether your campaigns pull recipients directly from your CRM or gather them from form submissions.
Your contact source setting dictates exactly where your email app pulls its recipient list from when you launch a campaign. You can choose between two distinct databases: your CRM contacts or your form submissions.
This setting dictates how your entire email system interacts with your audience. When you build segments, your filter criteria query the contact source you select here. When you send a campaign, your recipients are pulled directly from this active pool. And when someone unsubscribes, the system automatically updates the subscription flag on the correct contact record—ensuring your list stays clean and compliant, whether you are pulling from CRM contacts or form submissions.
Navigate to the DNS tab to configure custom domain authentication for your email sends. This critical step proves to email providers that you are authorized to send messages from your domain, ensuring your campaigns land reliably in your recipients' inboxes instead of their spam folders.
The Details tab provides a read-only overview of your Email app's technical footprint. None of the information on this screen is editable. Instead, it serves as a reliable reference point for verifying system data and troubleshooting technical issues.
The Danger Zone tab allows you to permanently delete your entire Email app. Because this is a significant action, you must confirm the deletion before it takes effect. Once confirmed, the app is removed and you will be redirected back to your main project page.
Get a complete picture of your email performance. The Campaigns view displays your sending interface and engagement data, giving you the insights needed to optimize future sends.
If you build segments against form submissions and then switch to CRM, your segment criteria may not return the same results because the underlying data structure is different.
No. Deleting the email app removes everything — every email you have designed, every segment you have built, every campaign you have sent, and all send history. This action cannot be undone.
