Most blocks in the visual builder hold a single piece of content—a heading, an image, or a button. Sections are different. They act as structural frames that hold and arrange other blocks inside them, giving you precise control over your page layout.

You can find three types of containers in the Layout category: Grid, Stack, and Tabs.

Group Blocks with Sections

Unlike standard blocks that hold a single piece of content, containers let you group multiple elements together. Stack a heading, paragraph, and button into a single cohesive unit, then apply custom backgrounds, borders, and responsive padding.

Consistent spacing keeps the group looking intentional rather than random.

Tab Blocks

Tabs organize content into labeled panels that visitors switch between by clicking the tab labels. Because only one panel is visible at a time, tabs save valuable vertical space while keeping related information instantly accessible. Use tabs when you have parallel content—like feature comparisons or alternative instructions—that visitors want to easily browse and compare.
